Every commercial property has different pavement needs depending on how it’s used, what condition it’s in, and what kind of traffic it handles. Commercial paving at Danny’s Asphalt Paving covers the full range of what a business property needs, from new construction to ongoing maintenance, matched to your specific site rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Since 1990, we’ve worked with retail properties, office parks, oilfield service yards, and everything in between across the Permian Basin. Here’s how to figure out what your property actually needs, and how we handle it.

Signs Your Commercial Property Needs Attention

  • Cracking or potholes that affect customer or employee access
  • Faded striping that no longer marks parking spaces or fire lanes clearly
  • Standing water in the lot after normal rainfall
  • A surface that looks worn compared to neighboring properties
  • Pavement that was built for less traffic than the property now sees

Why Businesses Across the Permian Basin Work With Danny’s Asphalt Paving

Most commercial paving contractors rent their equipment and buy asphalt from a third-party supplier. That’s not unusual, but it does mean their timeline and material quality depend on someone else’s availability.

Danny’s Asphalt Paving doesn’t work that way. We’ve owned our equipment since 1990, and our sister company, Basin Asphalt, produces the hot mix for every job we run. That combination means fewer scheduling surprises tied to rental availability, and a mix we control rather than one we’re buying off a shelf.

It’s also why we can move between a single retail lot and a multi-acre industrial site without changing crews or subcontracting part of the job out. The same team that quotes your project is the one that shows up to run it.

Questions Property Owners Usually Ask

My lot has a few cracks but otherwise looks fine. Do I need reconstruction?
Probably not. Isolated cracking on an otherwise stable surface is almost always a repair job, not a rebuild. Reconstruction becomes the better option when the base itself is failing, not just the surface.

What’s the difference between commercial and industrial paving?
The distinction is about load, not label. A retail parking lot and an oilfield service yard are both “commercial” in a loose sense, but the yard needs a heavier base and mix to handle equipment weight the retail lot never sees.

Can you work around our business hours so we don’t lose customers?
Scheduling around operating hours is something we plan for upfront, not something we figure out once the crew is already on-site.

How do you decide whether to recommend asphalt or chip seal?
It comes down to budget, traffic type, and how long you need the surface to perform. We’ll walk through the tradeoffs specific to your property during the estimate.

Is a site visit really necessary, or can you quote from photos?
Photos can give us a general idea, but base condition and drainage issues aren’t always visible from the surface, which is why an accurate quote depends on seeing the property in person.

We manage a few properties. Can you handle more than one project at a time?
Yes, this comes up often with property managers and multi-location businesses, and we plan crew scheduling around exactly that kind of workload.
